This is a four day program with the purpose to improve the nutritional status of infants, children and adolescents by updating health professionals in infant, child and adolescent nutrition at both the individual and public health level.  In addition, we will have 1/2 day devoted to New Dietary Guidelines and How it Relates to Pediatrics, Life course Theory and Application in Maternal and Pediatric Nutrition, How Feeding Styles/Practices Interact with Choices and Perceptions about Food and Nutrition, and Family-based Pediatric Weight Management . This course is designed for dietitians and other professionals who are involved in the care of children.

Topics include: Pediatric Growth and Development, Feeding Concerns and Disordered Eating, Genetics, Sports Nutrition, Sleep Problems,  Community  Assessment and reviews of current treatments in Pulmonary, GI, Renal, Cardiology, Inborn Errors of  Metabolism, Children with Special Health Care Needs.
